In the east, you can explore the magnificent Mont Orgueil. This dramatic castle towers over the harbour at Gorey and is one of the best preserved castles in Britain. It has spectacular views over the island and across the sea to France.
On the other side of the island, you will find the Jersey War Tunnels. This complex of tunnels was excavated during the Second World War. Within the complex is the award winning ’Captive Island’ exhibition.
In St. Helier and opposite the Pomme d'Or is the award-winning Jersey Museum, where you will find the real history of the island.
